A quick update on a few things:
TMV’s Center Voices blogroll has been totally restored. Due to a technical glitch all of the Center Voices links were dumped into Other Voices and the center category vanished. In going through Other Voices I eliminated some “dead’ blogs, blogs not updated within 30 days, and blogs that asked for reciprocal links with TMV but didn’t put our link up. Also: I moved a few blogs into other categories so they could get more hits there. Center Voices contains center, center-right and center left links.
If you see your blog in another category and it bothers you just email me and I’ll make the switch.
You’ll See More Book And DVD Reviews On TMV: I am way behind and will do some shorter capsule reviews. My main reading interest remains politics and show biz and my main DVD interest is to watch and study classic comedians and comedies. Due to my schedule it has been impossible to write long reviews in recent months, so I’ll be posting a series of shorter ones.
TMV Reports From The Scene: You’ll likely see some TMV readers with first hand Campaign 2008 posts in coming months. Also, from July 1 – August 22 I’ll be on a very long road trip and I’m planning on a series of election-related posts from various cities during that time.
Joe Gandelman is a former fulltime journalist who freelanced in India, Spain, Bangladesh and Cypress writing for publications such as the Christian Science Monitor and Newsweek. He also did radio reports from Madrid for NPR’s All Things Considered. He has worked on two U.S. newspapers and quit the news biz in 1990 to go into entertainment. He also has written for The Week and several online publications, did a column for Cagle Cartoons Syndicate and has appeared on CNN.
