Trump’s popularity not shared with associates
by Jordan Cooper
Trump’s media maven-like prowess doesn’t spread to his subordinates. He was the owner of the Miss Universe pageant but these beautiful women sometimes get less media coverage than a drink special at a college pub. You’ll see former winners of smaller pageants like Eva Longoria and Oprah Winfrey be regulars in media around the country.
Moreover, once you win Miss Universe you become no more than the girl next door at many times even when you’re married to elite professional athletes. For an example, retired New York Giant Osi Umenyiora’s spouse Leila Lopes hardly got a blip of the camera on her when she attended her hubby’s football games. Then, current Atlanta Hawk Al Horford’s wife Amelia Vega gets less camera attention at her old man’s games than a deer in Poe Creek State Forest.
However, other A-listers, B, C, and D-listers who haven’t won the top award of their endeavors and aren’t married to anyone, gets more cameras flashed than a fashion show in Milan. There is a needed adherence to the unwritten meritocracy we have for media attention and we must comply with these standards at all times. We need to show that we support American exceptionalism and traditional nuclear family life thru how we conduct our media coverage.
