Bernie Sanders isn’t helping the Democratic Party by smearing Bill Clinton’s comment about the “awful legacy of the last eight years.” The fact is, those comments, which were directed at the obstructionism and gridlock in Washington D.C., were taken out of context by a far right PAC.
Don’t know that I’d call President Obama's 72 straight months of job growth an “awful legacy.” https://t.co/GUzlY6Wp4h

This is yet another shameful attack on Hillary Clinton by the Sanders campaign that is bound to backfire like the other attacks. I might also add, Sanders is the same lawmaker who wanted Obama to have a primary challenger in 2012 and runs around Cornel West, who has said some pretty divisive things about the first black president.
Here’s what Bill Clinton said on the campaign trail today (context is everything!):
“I literally from the time I met her 45 years ago until we talked yesterday, she is the best change maker I have ever known. She always finds a way to make something good happen, to make people feel empowered, to buy people into the process, to make democracy work the way the framers intended for it to work. Now if you don’t believe we can all grow together again, if you don’t believe we’re ever going to grow again, if you believe it’s more important to re-litigate the past, there may be many reasons that you don’t want to support her,” said Bill Clinton.
“But if you believe we can all rise together, if you believe we’ve finally come to the point where we can put the awful legacy of the last eight years behind us and the seven years before that where we were practicing trickle-down economics with no regulation in Washington, which is what caused the crash, then you should vote for her. Because she’s the only person who basically has good ideas, will tell you how she’s going to pay for them, can be commander-in-chief, and is a proven change maker with Republicans and Democrats and Independents alike.”
Here’s the deceptive video by far right propaganda PAC America Rising distorting Bill Clinton’s words:
Bill Clinton issued a statement reiterating that he was talking about Republican obstructionism:

The Hillary Clinton campaign also hit back at Bernie Sanders’ hit job:
Pres Clinton was calling GOP obstruction of Obama 'awful'. Sanders is only Dem in race who actually attacks @POTUS https://t.co/LMU35uRzY2

This tweet pretty much sums up the hypocrisy from the Sanders campaign:

The fact is, Bernie Sanders is circling the drain. He has hitched his wagon to the Democratic Party in hopes of conning people to vote for him to be party’s presidential nominee. Only, he has been in Congress for over 20 years and does not have a record of accomplishment. He’s not fit to be president in any lifetime. By the way, somebody please give him a portfolio for his speeches instead of that tattered manila folder he walks around with.
