Waters Defends Self, Blames Bush
In perhaps the least shocking move so far, embattled Congresswoman Maxine Waters has blamed (you knew this was coming) former President Bush for her ethics issues.
At this point I have not read enough of the specifics to decide whether or not she is guilty of these charges though the Washington Post is defending her, at least somewhat.
Being from California I’m quite familiar with Waters and certainly she is one of the more biased and intolerant members of Congress but that does not mean that the voters of her district don’t have the right to support her.
In any event it’s not going to impact her re-election as she is already past the primary in a district that has perhaps 15 or 20 Republican voters.
