    The two Reps on MTP were more concerned about giving into Russia than they were about the differences between the two systems. They also mentioned letting down two allies. Personally, I think that if they are so worried about it, they can try to push through legislation that would just give those two countries money…because that is the only reason they care about the system. Both countries belong to the EU and don't need our protection.

    I don't t have a problem with “giving in” to Russia on this. It was a direct threat to their security. We wouldn't like it if Russia built a missile defense system in Cuba.
