Stormy Daniels Car Bomb Incident

Possible Louisiana Senate candidate (and porn star) Stormy Daniels may be learning just how dangerous the political arena can be. (Or maybe not.) It’s being reported that her political adviser had his car blown up this week, and there’s even video of it after the jump.

A political adviser to Stormy Daniels, the porn star who’s considering a Senate run in Louisiana, told a New Orleans TV station Monday that someone bombed his car.

Brian Welsh, who wasn’t hurt in the incident, posted surveillance video of his car exploding on YouTube. He told ABC 26, the local affiliate, that there’s footage of an unidentified man opening the car door and throwing something inside before it explodes. There’s video of someone moving around near the car, but it’s unclear what he or she is doing.

Of course, I’d never be so jaded and cynical as to suggest that this was a staged stunt to get some press. Let’s all just be glad that nobody was hurt. As for Daniels herself, I’m about ready to endorse her candidacy no matter which party she winds up picking. If we’re going to have a Legislative branch full of asses anyhow, we may as well have an ass that’s been fully, errr…. vetted.
