Come help us demonstrate our lack of support for the troops

Back in 2003 when I was still a card carrying member of the Republican Party, I swear that I felt like the only person in the GOP who opposed the Iraq war. But I kept right on protesting and speaking out against it, and finally my efforts have paid off. I see that today the entire House Republican membership is going to vote against further funding for the war. It’s good to know that I wield such influence, even if it’s a bit late in coming.

But there’s more work to be done, citizens! The evil, war-mongering Obama administration and Congressional Democrats are determined to carry on with their vision of global conquest and only we can stop them. That’s why today, at 3:30 pm Eastern time, during the second half of The Ed Morrissey Show, I’ll be joining Ed for a call in segment where we will connect viewers with their Congressional representatives and let them know that we most certainly do NOT support the troops and we will NOT tolerate additional funding of this war. We take these actions even knowing that Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) called this “an immoral thing to do” back in 2005. Sometimes principle must reign over party affiliation.

Oh, and I think Ed also wants to object to some taxpayer funding for something called the I.M.F. which I believe stands for Interspecies Monkey Foundation. I think they object to teaching creationism in schools or support gay marriage between people and chimps. Or something.

Why did they go with Conan O'Brien when they could have had Jazz Shaw take over the Tonight Show!

What did Powell say? Something like, "You break it, you own it?"...no that wasn't it. Anyway...we invaded and now we own it. We can't just walk away because it's hard, expensive, and deadly. We have a moral obligation to the Iraqi people. We invaded their country, allowed terrorists to come in and take control, and the country is still in worse shape now than it was when we invaded.

We can't leave until we fix it.

We should have never went in in the first place...but that doesn't really matter right now.

Split the stinking IMF funding from the war funding bill then pass the war funding bill.
  • Have to say it, having endured it for 8 long years. GOP, the defeatopublicans, the cut and run party, the surrender monkeys, they're with the terrorists, they want America to fail, they'll make us less safe, the terrorists will win. Like it, Jazz?

Because he's busy here and conservative comedians like Dennis Miller SUCKS. :-)
  • Since my bad mood has passed, which caused me to not get your "destroyed America" post, I have to say:

    ROFL!!!
