Could Jon Huntsman Sr. be the Source of Harry Reid Charge Romney Didn't Pay Taxes for 10 Years? (Attribution Unknown)
Could Jon Huntsman Sr. be the source of Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-NV) charge that Mitt Romney didn’t pay taxes for 10 years? The Daily Kos thinks so because Huntsman Sr. is business partners with Robert C. Gay, who was Bain Capital’s managing director between 1989 and 2004. In other words, who else would have the inside scoop on any fancy financial shenanigans that could have occurred? Harry Reid has said he got the information from a Bain investor, so we aren’t sure, but the Daily Kos could be onto something. You be the judge.

Until I see some actual evidence I’m just going to assume Reid made it up to put the squeeze on Romney.
Slamfu — You could be right. This will follow Romney to debates.
If he made it up, he should lose his leadership role and deserves censure from the Senate if not expulsion.
And if he made it up, he could lose the election for many Democrats in the blowback. If the charge is true, Romney will never release more tax returns, and that will not make that much difference to many voters, so any gain is minimal.
Psst, my niece went to Columbia (2011), but she said a guy she went out with had an uncle who said Obama smoked pot every day.
To all:
Ried and Romney are both probably lying through their teeth. But on a tactical move, Reid wins the lies.
Good to have the DailyKos view represented here.
Daily Kos linked to TPM which posted this story; it explains how the millions got into the IRA and 0 income taxes paid.

Could MB be JH?
My theory is he did pay income taxes in all years, but at so low a rate that he would be embarrassed. He obviously doesn’t have the kind of hutzpa that some previous presidents had. They just brushed off the bad baggage or denied everything.
Do we really want a president that is that sensitive?
