TRULY reprehensible. And, oh yes: there will be people who will vote AGAINST people who do something like this.
And I hope they catch these creeps and prosecute them to the fullest extent of animal cruelty laws.
So now people are killing animals — pets — to lash out at those with whom they don’t agree?

The standard response is both sides do it, but where is the links that show Demonocrats doing these things. Here’s another example via LGF of an audience member at Newter’s victory speech in SC responding to Obama’s name with this line of compassion – Gingrich Mentions Obama at SC Victory Speech, Audience Member Yells ‘String Him Up’.

This is disgusting. A political atmosphere of true hatred of the opposition rules certain parts of the populace now and that sort of atmosphere almost inevitably leads to things like this, IMO. I’m certainly not surprised by the story from LGF given the number of times I’ve seen Obama accused of treason, wanting to destroy the United States, Marxism and similar hyperbolic hate filled accusations. Several of the accusations of treason have been accompanied by calls for the death penalty to be applied.

Find who did this and prosecute him to the full extent of the law. Throw the freaking book at him. Whoever did this is excrement. Nobody will ever convince me that those who do such things aren’t influenced by the constant day after day, year after year, decade after decade liberal bashing that has become a staple of the rightwing either. Disgusting.
This is making me ill– as a Democrat and a cat lover/owner– what are we coming to in this country?
If conservatives lose in November, I think the violence is going to rapidly increase in frequency and severity. If they lose big, I’m sure we’ll see a wave of far right terrorism.
I hope they catch this kook. This is the first step towards becoming a serial killer.
