Prediction: Casey Anthony Will Wind Up Wealthy Due to Media Bucks

Here’s a prediction and you don’t have to be psychic to make it: now that she is basically acquitted in a controversial jury decision of killing her 2 year old daughter, Casey Anthony is going to be a very very wealthy woman — and in quick time. I’ve said as much to friends as soon as the jury verdict came out. And here is the first sign:
“The Jerry Springer Show” has backtracked on its $1 million offer to Casey Anthony to appear on the talk show, Radar Online reported Friday.
The deal was presented to Casey’s attorney Jose Baez by Al Taylor, a freelance producer for the show, who claimed he had the green light from the program’s executives, according to the gossip website.
“I spoke to someone very high up and they knew I made the offer for them,” Taylor told the site.
“The ‘Springer’ show got immediate backlash though and decided they didn’t want any part of it anymore. But there is another show interested and they are about to make an offer in writing to Baez,” he added.
The pricey payout would have come with strings attached though — Springer’s team wanted Anthony to appear with her parents, Cindy and George, and her brother Lee.
Anthony, 25, was acquitted Tuesday of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, but convicted of lying to police.Her defense included the claim she was sexually abused as a child by her father — a suggestion her parents subsequently described as “baseless.
I think she’ll be rich because this will be in her future:
The fact of the matter is that notoriety or controversy means more exposure and big bucks in American culture. She is now the “get” for the networks and a big media topic that people “want to know more about” in the view of producers, editors and publishers. Much of American journalism still does not pay to get interviews – -but she won’t give it away.
How much longer before she has a book or script agent? She probably has one waiting in the wings.

Was there any doubt. If she doesn’t cash in big time, then that would be the shocking news akin to Gandelman paying $11 for three bottles of wine. And, I can’t believe Playboy will skip the opportunity for a centerfold (better than a DSK layout)
BTW: boxed wine at $16 for 5 liters saves even more money and saves space in your car trunk that can then be used to store some dead raccoons and possums. (I don’t recall if Baez used the possums make fine stews, defense.)

I think Joe, that it could happen. But, I think big 6 might have learned lesson of no sell through for levi of the palin clan. But perhaps more so OJ and his “how I did it” book debacle. Not sure even playboy would do this; hustler perhaps, but not sure given 1 month before reporting this beautiful little baby missing, will ever clean up. My hunch is maybe reality show. Which is a whole other story when one looks behind the scenes about how those are put together. Think Joey Buttafuco. Some people’s ideas of ‘modern’ punch and judy. …Too Joe, I think from what I see, no one need pay her anything. She would be willing. Not saying she is, but people who are character-disordered often love to talk about how they didnt do x, to ‘set the record straight.’ Regular happening. Like clockwork.
Casey Anthony will, technically, make a lot of bucks. I use the world ‘technically’ only because a large portion will go to Zenaida Gonzalez (civil suit deposition coming up this July 19th), and a very seasoned security force for traveling and at home (the home will have to be behind gates and heavily guarded 24/7).
Considering Ms. Anthony is a very social person, she is already facing a kind of hell. Clubs will not allow her in, due the disruption, people will not want to associate with her on a personal level due to the physical danger she will attract. In other words, Ms. Anthony would have encountered more ‘play’, if you will, in prison.
She should invest what money she can get wisely, for when that money stops rolling in – and it will, if she has not made wise investments, and I hope I’m wrong, someone’s going to get to her.
