Weiner To Take Leave From House
Word coming out now that Congresscritter Weiner is going to seek a leave of absence from the House to obtain professional help.
This could be a step towards eventual resignation when he decides to step down ‘on the advice of my doctors’.

I know it’s silly (this whole thing is sillier than if this guy’s name was Smith, but “to obtain professional help” just cracked me up as I pictured him calling Spitzer for some “professional phone numbers”. “Hello, my name is Anthony, my pal Elliot told me you take American Express.”

ohh… and he probably won’t step down. He’ll get “help”, say he is sorry, and be back before his next election.

What an idiot, and shame on the NY voter if they keep him in office.
It’s not about infidelity (although, perhaps, it is in some minds). It’s really about not understanding the #1 technology of our time (social media), lying about a scandal, and refusing to take personal responsibility.
It’s the last two items, Barky, as well as possibly misusing federal (Congressional) assets and of course, being a scumbag who has disgraced his position and that of the Congress.
I believe New York, an older state, doesn’t have the recall (and with a federal office, the Congress might intervene in any kind of election).
Then there is the joker or wild-card stuff: Apparently this guy has defenders and fans, still, in his district and elsewhere(!).
