May 4th in Washington, DC will be a big day for The Future of Food–the title of a day-long conference at Georgetown University, which will bring together some of the world’s leading figures in the sustainability movement to discuss food production. It will also be the first time Senior Policy Advisor for Healthy Food Initiatives Sam Kass shares a stage with His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales.
His Royal Highness will give the keynote speech, and discuss “long-term agricultural sustainability and the importance of promoting ecosystem resilience.” Kass frequently appears at food policy conferences, and he’ll be discussing the paradigm-shifting Let’s Move! campaign and other White House food initiatives. The event is sponsored by the Washington Post.
The conference is free and open to the public. It will be live-streamed here.
