We did this post earlier about a Fox & Friends segment that basically was an incredibly blatant anti-Obama political ad. This segment was widely panned by media critics and even some conservatives as being (further) damaging to Fox News’ image. The hosts of the morning show that is as predictable as listening to Rush Limbaugh congratulated associate producer Chris White after the segment aired.
But, as they say, timing is everything: apparently White had a job offer from CNN — which changed its mind. TV Newser:
CNN has rescinded its job offer to a “Fox & Friends” associate producer who assembled a widely-criticized anti-Obama video, the New York Times is reporting.
The associate producer, Chris White, was identified and congratulated at the conclusion of the highly-produced piece, which aired twice yesterday morning on “Fox & Friends.” Yesterday afternoon, Fox News EVP of programming Bill Shine said the package “was not authorized at the senior executive level of the network.”
As they say: not a good career move…
