Greetings! Over the weekend, I will put together a “best of” and “worst of” list of the presidential campaign season, but today, as the year comes to an end, I want to throw out three items to everyone.
Resolution #1: I will write a post three times a week and most of these will be germane to the mission of TMV. Of course, from time to time, you readers may not agree with or even read my columns, but I am making a resolution to give you my thoughts on the 1st 100 days of the Obama presidency and beyond.
Resolution #2: I will be a better father to my son; a better son to my parents; a better confidante to my friends; and finally, more giving of my time to people in need.
Resolution #3, A Thought for Everyone: For those of you who are of the Christian, Catholic or Jewish faiths, read Genesis chapter 2, verses 1 through 3. Genesis 2 is a reminder that there is a season for work and a season for rest. Notice that even the Lord rested after he finished His creative work. In 2009, take time to rest, to breathe deeply, and to appreciate the special moments. May God Bless You and Your Families in the New Year!
Blessings,
TC
