James Reynolds is an experienced actor with an extensive career. He is probably best known for his Emmy nominated role as Abe Carver on “Days of our Lives” but has also performed in the theater and appeared in a number of big screen films including “Mr. Majestyk” and “Fun With Dick and Jane.” As author and film critic Betty Jo Tucker points out, his work and background extend beyond that.
Recently named Chairman of the Department of Veterans Affairs 2009 National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans, Reynolds is a former Marine who served as an information service officer after graduating from high school. He was sent to Vietnam and added battlefield reporting to his combat duties. He remains dedicated to supporting our troops and does so by touring with the USO as well as traveling to various countries to meet with them. In 2007, Reynolds was honored by the Beverly Hills/Hollywood NAACP Veteran Affairs and Armed Services Committee for his contributions to the U.S. Armed Forces.
Today, at 4 pm eastern, Betty Jo and I will interview Mr. Reynolds on Movie Addict Headquarters. We’ll talk to him about his career, his public service and future projects. You can call in with your own questions and comments for James at 646-478-5668. See you on the radio.
