I was on newspapers where they fired or suspended employeees but I never heard of that causing a news operation to change its daily production of news copy or its nonstop flow to readers one iota. News operations don’t stop because of controversies, even those aimed at them; they thrive on them.
Joe Gandelman is a former fulltime journalist who freelanced in India, Spain, Bangladesh and Cypress writing for publications such as the Christian Science Monitor and Newsweek.
