Here’s to the State of Joe Lieberman

I’d like to believe that we’ve learned something as a society from the political crimes and mistakes of the past, but listening to Phil Ochs sing “Here’s to the State of Richard Nixon,” it’s depressingly amazing how accurately those lyrics still describe what’s going on today:
