Why Hollywood Types Should Drop Their Defense of Roman Polanski’s Crimes

    Rick Sanchez's style has always driven me nuts, but I must agree with him in this circumstance. I don't care that the DA lied to a French producer. I don't care that the victim forgives Polanski. I don't care that the charges where plea bargained down to "unlawful sex". Polanski owes ME justice. Polanski owes millions of Americans that have daughters justice! Polanski owes all female Americans justice!

    Woopie Goldberg's arguments are pathetic IMO. It is far more important that this guilty man finally goes to jail for his crime and it would be a demoralizing injustice nationally for this guilty man to escape justice because he is famous, rich, and connected to powerful people.

    Like you, I have never liked Rick Sanchez's over-the-top, look-at-me style. But today, I took a late lunch and just happened to catch him responding to the Show Biz campaign for Polanski. I thought that he was right on.
