PETA Critical Of Obama for ‘Murdering’ Fly

Every time I think they can’t get nuttier…..

“We support compassion for the even the smallest animals,” says Bruce Friedrich, VP for Policy at PETA. “We support giving insects the benefit of the doubt.”

Friedrich says PETA supports “brushing flies away rather than killing them” and was disappointed that the President had gone ahead and squashed the pesky fly.

Why am I not surprised? My PETA friend (I can only tolerate one friend who belongs to PETA) carries spiders out of her home and releases them. Other than that, veganism and proselitizing for the "cause", she's a great person.

No comment so far on Obama's consumption of meat?

lol...OK. So the next time one of the PETA members gets a staph infection, we must monitor them to make sure they don't take antibiotics to kill all those millions upon millions of living bacteria, deserving of protection as much as flies.

And malarial mosquitos? I want a team of PETA members dispatched immediately to malarial regions to stop the wholesale slaughter of maybe even billions of those poor tiny creatures by the eradication programs going on there!!

It's time to stop the killing. Act now! Put your money where your staph infection is!...

    ..lol.. ; )

That is a fabulous idea Sil. I second the idea totally.

However, this still does not top the PETA suggestion that Ben and Jerry's substitute breast milk for cow's milk in the production of its product.
