The GOP has no credibility when it comes to controlling spending. Unfortunately the Democrats don't, either. The last government that seemed to pay attention to spending was with a Democratic president and a GOP House/Senate, maybe that's what it takes. This finger-pointing really serves no purpose as we should be expecting both camps to spend our money wisely.
