The usual assortment of Republican presidential wingnuts are lining up to toss their hats in the ring for 2016. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is said to be “considering a presidential run, according to his friends,” the National Review reports. I guess someone has  a really big ego. Can you say “Oh Canada!” Of course, that won’t be a problem with the Tea Party since he’s no Barack Obama. His father was a Cuban immigrant to the United States during the Cuban Revolution.

“Cruz won’t talk about it publicly, and even privately he’s cagey about revealing too much of his thought process or intentions. But his interest is undeniable.”

One GOP insider said, “If you don’t think this is real, then you’re not paying attention. Cruz already has grassroots on his side, and in this climate, that’s all he may need.”

Um, I can see a Ted Cruz/Rand Paul ticket or a Rick Santorum/Michele Bachmann ticket. That will mean only one thing, it’s Hillary Clinton’s race to lose, if she decides to run. Dear God, please let Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Michele Bachmann, Mr. 9-9-9 Herman Cain, Sarah Palin, Mr. Ooops Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum vie for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016. It will be hilarious to watch the wheels come of the GOP clown car.
