Watch out Iran…you are being scrutinized…bigtime. Not just by the State Department. But, very soon, by a slew of major weblogs that vow to clamor for a free referendum.
Read the details here. Basically, in his latest National Review column Michael Ledeen talks about the importance of Iran in the context of the Middle East and that its an issue that must be met at the very least head on..politically.
Blogger Roger Simon suggests making this a big blog cause — a free referendum in Iran, thus shifting blogs’ focus from recent campaigns against people to a campaign to bring about positive political change through a free national referendum.
It’s fascinating reading. Is this the opening salvo in a new chapter in Blogtopia’s young history, or just another post? We’d bet that given what’s happening in Iran we’ll see more and more stories — and posts — on this subject…and soon…and it won’t be a passing fancy.
