Is Our Foreign Policy Too Moral ??
I am quite sure that the title to this posting caused some of you to gasp or express outrage over the idea that something as inherently evil as American (and/or Bush or Obama etc) Foreign Policy could be too moral but I would ask you to hear me out. My original post was prompted by the fact that I was watching a series of programs on the Military Channel which cover the … [Read more...] about Is Our Foreign Policy Too Moral ??

Tucker Carlson Compares Candy Crowley “Act of Terror” Fact-Check to John Wilkes Booth Assassinating Lincoln
Daily Caller founder Tucker Carlson continues to amaze me that anyone with common sense takes him seriously. He is now comparing Candy Crowley fact-checking Mitt Romney during the presidential debate at Hofstra University to John Wilkes Booth assassinating President Abraham Lincoln in 1865. Never mind the fact that Mitt Romney's performance was horrible. Um, if this is the best … [Read more...] about Tucker Carlson Compares Candy Crowley “Act of Terror” Fact-Check to John Wilkes Booth Assassinating Lincoln
Newsweek Ending Print Edition in 2013
Newsweek is ending its iconic print edition in 2013. Finis. Corrupt Public Officials: Robert E Murray and Mary Kellett
Judge Robert E Murray of Ellsworth Maine is a corrupt scumsucking weasel who should be removed from the bench. Every American, especially anyone in Maine, should be ashamed he's on the bench. He is, in part, quite obviously covering for the even more corrupt human rights abusing, civil rights-trashing prosecutor Mary Kellet, who should not only be disbarred, but should … [Read more...] about Corrupt Public Officials: Robert E Murray and Mary Kellett
Why Only a B+ for Obama in the Debate?
The President pulled himself up from the deep pit he dug two weeks ago but not completely out of it. He pushed through Romney’s blandness, scored points aggressively and showed combative gusto, particularly on the politicizing of Benghazi, calling up presidential strength and personal sorrow to offset his opponent’s self-serving carping over lost lives. He rattled Romney … [Read more...] about Why Only a B+ for Obama in the Debate?
Lance Armstrong Gives Italians Sense of Legal Superiority (La Stampa, Italy)
If Lance Armstrong were Italian, would his cheating ways have been uncovered and prosecuted sooner? Police Catch Murder Suspect After 36 Years Using Chewing Gum Ruse
An interesting story out of Seattle where police used DNA to connect a suspect to an unsolved 1976 murder. The man was a suspect in the original murder case but they could not prove it. A police officer used a "chewing gum survey" to trick the man into giving up a DNA sample. While I am glad they seem to have caught a killer, this does seem to raise 4th amendment issues. … [Read more...] about Police Catch Murder Suspect After 36 Years Using Chewing Gum Ruse
