Because if you read this site you know TMV is the ultimate journalist freed from the DISCIPLINE of an editor — who can write what he wants, and make it as long as he wants to make it (he has agreed to have Holly from Cincinnati proofread for him, much to the relief of one of our nicest readers in Texas). That violates most blog rules, but what the heck…

However, due to killing travels and over the past week some serious health problems he has been limited in his usual wisdom-filled output. So readers are getting smaller doses of that perfection symbolized by the letters TMV than usual. But that hasn’t mattered.

And a key reason is our hugely talented co-bloggers (who post great stuff here PLUS regularly on their own sites — just click on the names under CONTACT in the upper left hand corner of this site to get to their blogs)…and thoughtful readers of the left, right and center are continuing to check with TMV despite his brutal travel which leaves little recuperation time (you don’t want to KNOW about today) and has therefore limited his output.

So, in California’s official language we say “GRACIAS” to all of you.
