A few things to pass along to TMV readers:
THE REFORMAT OF TMV is well underway. You will note some changes on this page. You’ll also note that you now can click on CATEGORIES on the lower right side of the site’s margin. This will increasingly let you read stories under specific categories. It is NOT retroactive, though, so this is something that will be starting now.
Also in the works: a list that will allow you to click on authors to view posts by a specific writer — all the more important since each writer on TMV has his or her own perspective.
Other changes are in the works, as well.
PLEASE READ OUR COMMENTS POLICY: Yours truly does not like to “ban” anyone from leaving comments and has takenheat for refusing to do so from co-bloggers, readers and some top bloggers of the right and left. However, some comments so clearly cross the line that there’s no choice. We had to do so once more. No, we don’t have a “comments police” that go around trying to find violations of policy, but much of it is common sense. The comments section should foster vigorous debate and an interplay of ideas. When someone crosses the line, they usually know they crossed it but in a moment of anger don’t care. We warn them but sometimes they don’t get the message. And then the BAN button is hit with enormous sadness, almost grief.
