Michelle Malkin has posted THIS COLLECTION of some truly brutal, officially-released photos that shows what happens to those who don’t tow the line in Iran. And she is asking, basically, “Where’s the outrage?”
OUR REACTION: It truly is revolting. And it doesn’t matter whether someone wants the U.S. to bomb Iran, doesn’t want the U.S. to bomb Iran, is considering whether he/she/it wants the U.S. to bomb Iran.
This is a REGIME that truly qualifies for use of the word “regime.” And the fact that they have posted these photos on the country’s official website shows they are proud of this action — and provides a taste of what would happen if their influence spreads to other countries.
PS: To those who’ll respond that the comment above means that this site is calling for war in Iran, read it again. You can be revolted by this kind of a) official behavior and b) official pride in this kind of behavior and not be clamoring for a war with Iran. PSS: And YES we did run posts critical of torture by U.S. officials.
In advance: the issue is not us writing about it or linking to it; the issue is IT.
A side issue is when those who write weblogs post something and seemingly demand others respond to it or suggest they are supporting it by not commenting on it. We don’t do that here. To each his/her own and we don’t pre-judge those who may not comment on it.
But we WILL and DO offer our own comment above.
