PS: Yours truly thinks that in 21st century America partisans need to take up some meditation. The second someone disagrees with them they (and TMV has experienced it from both sides) go on the offensive and immediately question the motives of someone who disagrees with them — and try to force them into a defensive position. Here’s a HINT to all of you who do that: you might think “the best defense is a good offense” but more often than not it’s just offensive and alienates people. If someone doesn’t agree 100 percent with someone they MUST be the political enemy. And this attitude can turn people into just that.
