One of the things I like about the internet is the ability to experience things from all over the world.

A good example of this is the I-Heart radio system which allows you to hear radio stations from all over the country, and to share them with others.

So I offer this thread for two reasons.

First, to give you the opportunity to suggest stations people might enjoy listening to, be they talk, music or otherwise.

The second is to let you all know I’ll be making my own little venture into IHR land this Thursday. I am a regular listener to a local radio show called Afternoons Live with Dave Diamond. Dave is a pretty impressive guy and while his politics are certainly conservative I think most TMV readers would find him entertaining (I plan to expand on this theme in a post next week).

This week however Dave is out of town attending his daughter’s wedding and he’s asked me, amoung others, to fill in for him on Thursday afternoon. We’ll be discussing a wide range of topics including the Presidential Debates and the upcoming elections, as well as taking a look at some Constitutional Issues.

And be sure to keep listening next week, Dave’s a lot more entertaining than me..
