If you’re a regular reader, you know that on weekends we Guest Post on Dean’s World.
Traditionally, that has meant we leave a referring link to that site then do all of our weekend posts there. But a slew of readers emailed saying that was a pain to them, particularly when they’re surfing quickly. And some said they did feel no matter what the site should have some original material on weekends.
SO: starting this weekend although we’ll Guest Post we’ll do it in a way that should help out readers here and on Dean’s World:
- We’ll do our guest posting at Dean’s World.
- We will link to EACH post from Dean’s World that is not a “pointer” item (an item that just has one or two lines) so you can immediately see here the posts that we do there.
- TMV will do one or two at the max original posts on weekends here — and those will be linked at Dean’s World, for the readers there
- We’re encouraging our superb Guest Bloggers to link to posts on their sites even moreso on weekends — plus to do any original posts they want to do.
This should answer readers’ requests and give additional leeway to the highly talented writers who’ve agreed to be permanent contributors to this site. A reminder that our full posts resume here 9 PM Sunday (which is midnight on the East Coast, Dean’s World time).
