Some readers have asked about the relative scarcity of posts from TMV himself. Yes, yours truly is posting less and this will continue until the second week in September (and then for several groups of days when he’s out of state).
This is due to a performing schedule that has meant driving 250 to 350 miles a day almost every day of the week since June. The only time TMV can post is a few posts at night and in the morning — then he’s off on the road, stuck in traffic in Southern CA.
Next week it’ll be different: He’ll be stuck in traffic and dodging death-inducing trucks and cars in southern, central and northern California. The week after that: in Nevada.
TMV can post but driving time negates being at a computer, although in some instances there can be Starbucks breaks.
So you’ll see posts by yours truly (and Around The Sphere and, if it ever lets us embed again, some You Tube bits). But the limited summer schedule will continue…which really doesn’t matter since our always talented co-bloggers are more than making up for it.
