The recount is sort of done in Minnesota.
I say sort of because there are still the allegedly missing 133 ballots as well as the 6,000 or so challenged ballots to be reviewed. The current count has Coleman up by 192 votes over Franken. From what I have read the experts think most of the challenges will be rejected but we still have to see where those go, and of course we still have to do the search for the missing (or maybe not missing) ballots.
From what I can tell the numbers do not favor Franken, at least from what I have been able to glean from the various reports. Even if you assume that all of the challenges and all of the missing ballots favor Franken (which is unlikely) it would still not give him enough to pull over the top.
Plus, as I’ve discussed before I don’t think Obama wants Franken in DC.
