On July 15, the recently-passed North Dakota law that would “[outlaw] one of two drugs used in nonsurgical abortions” met its demise. East Central Judge Wickham Corwin called the law “simply wrongheaded” and ruled that it violates both the state and U.S. constitutions. The Attorney General immediately vowed to appeal the decision to the state supreme court.
