They should drive a tank to the next rally if they have a permit for it.
  • Leonidas
Oh and god forbid its a black man driving the tank MSNBC might fall on their face again if they try to race bait it if so

MSNBC: Gun-Toting Protesters are 'White' Racists... Black Guy with AR-15 Edited to Conceal his Race.

    Leonidas,

That's a lie. I watched those clips on MSNBC. The black guy with the big gun was clearly shown multiple times. There was no attempt to conceal his race. If you want to know which MSNBC shows I watch, he was on both Keith Oberman and Rachel Maddow shows. Both of these programs showed the guy and did not conceal him at all.
  • CStanley
If Olbermann and Maddow showed the black man with the gun, without concealing his race, then good for them, Lynnehs. But the clip that was being discussed was not on either of those MSNBC shows- it was an MSNBC anchor showing film of only the man's torso while she talked about 'white people showing up at these events with guns'.

    Also from MSNBC (television):

Ernest Hancock, right-wing radio host & gun-toter at Obama's Arizona town hall, organized & interviewed other gun toters. Used to work for Viper Reserves, terrorist militia group in which 12 members were charged in 1996 with plotting to ...blow up government buildings. 11 went to prison. Ernest Hancock described the sentences as "an injustice like you wouldn't believe." He thinks Waco and 9-11 were created by the U.S.

    CStanley,

Regular news achor, really? That's so stupid of MSNBC since the Oberman and Maddow shows clearly showed him. Obviously they messed up, but since the real clips did air on other shows it was clearly not a station-wide attempt to conceal the truth but a failure to fact-check that particular segment. Of course failure to fact check is a problem with all news no matter what the medium or source. You can't trust anyone!

They got caught race baiting. They were pushing the point on that particular show about white men showing up and having a black president so they had to edit out anything that would reveal their video was of a black man.

They should be fired for lowering the bar of journalism even further.

At the time this happened I saw the guy with the AR-15 on CNN and noted a lot of downright degenerate anti-gun behavior among many on CNN that evening. As one person tried to educate some of them, the anti-gun loonies needed to get away from their little cocoons in NYC and DC, removed from real society and the rest of the real world. (In addition to being truly diseased toward guns, they simply seemed not to understand the obvious, that Arizona permits people to bear arms openly, and similar stances are of course taken by other states. It's a real world far removed from, say, the lunacy-driven excess in the other direction we see with New York City and the scandalous punishment an NFL player is now facing.)

    "They got caught race baiting."

I suspect this time it was anti-gun lunacy used in another feeble attempt to mischaracterize widespread public opposition to the Dems' misbehavior as well as with the many problems with the health care effort.

"They should be fired for lowering the bar of journalism even further."

It won't happen; their peers also are lowering journalism in order to aid their Democratic health care effort.
