Jefferson Guilty

Former Congressman William Jefferson has been found guilty on 11 of the 16 charges against him, likely sending him to prison.

Jefferson lost his heavily Democratic district in an upset last year.

    What’s the difference between Jefferson taking cash and congressmen getting their reward after leaving office with a corporate figurehead job and a big fat salary for doing the lobbyist’s bidding?

    The difference is that Jefferson is small time, that’s all.
