For We Who are Lefties in Writing Hand Only: Look! Another One of Us »
In Buddhism, sometimes, old wise ones have written:
the wheel of life and death spins fast when there is change,
and other times spins slowly when there is gratification.
But others of the ancients who are wise,
say it is just the opposite:
the wheel of life and death spins fast
when there is gratification,
and slowly when there is change afoot.
The most wise, perhaps, of all, say
the first is the philosophy
of the inexperienced….
That the second is the reality
of all evolved beings.
Some swing fast and some swing
slow Some evolve
but some don't grow
Life afoot in death and change
No one cries out to rearrange
Youth in bluster
in full bloom
The unseen hand
at work and play
Evolution on display
The prize is wise
and goes to them
who spin the wheel
with guts and zeal
Gaza toddlers to condemn
But change is floating
in the wind
Take a chance and spin again
Slow and fast and
fast and slow
what do you really
want to know?
well thank you Spirasol, a complex rhyming. That is really hard to do for most. “evolution on display. ” In our times, isnt it the truth… for those who have the eyes to see it

really like both of these poems. . .what is so often great about poetry is they are fast to read, but grace with their slow peeling to the core where living and deathing are inseparable and all embracing in any given moment. . .
