Huh? A lot of these movies don't seem particularly conservative. “Behind Enemy Lines” for instance, though I'm sure a lot of conservatives like it, it essentially only about the heroic actions of a soldier behind enemy lines. He discovers a mass killing and escapes to tell the story. It seems pretty non-partisan except to the most vitriolic right wing crowd that would claim sole “ownership” of the armed forces. Heck, it was Clinton that eventually send troops into the region making him the most popular of presidents in Albania.
I have always seen the documentary “Hoop Dreams” as a conservative movie. It shows that what many white progressive believe about poor blacks is incorrect. It shows that developing policy that will help poor blacks in the projects will be very hard.
I realize that “Hoop Dreams” was a conservative movie because I have meet very few blacks who like it even though it was a documentary filmed in the virtually all black world of basketball and housing projects.
Ya know, I've enjoyed many of those movies on that list and didn't give a thought to was it conservative or liberal. I just enjoy a good movie regardless.
