On Friday, February 22, NASA is hosting its first live Google+ Hangout with the International Space Station. Time? From 10:30 am to 11:30 am EST*.
Astronauts Kevin Ford, Tom Marshburn (@AstroMarshburn) and Chris Hadfield (@Cmdr_Hadfield) will answer questions and provide insights about life aboard the station.
The hangout can be viewed live on NASA’s Google+ page or on the NASA Television YouTube channel. To join the hangout, and to learn about updates and opportunities to participate in upcoming hangouts, visit NASA’s Google+ page.
Some pre-recorded video questions may be used but the agency will take questions live during the event. Use #askAstro on Google+, YouTube or Twitter; NASA will open a thread on its Facebook page to take questions there.
* The news release currently says 10.30 – 11.30 eastern. Most news stories that are contemporaneous with its release say the event is 11.00 – noon. The news release has no indication that it has been changed, but that seems to be what happened.
