This has been a long time coming………

It appears to have been a plea bargain with prosecutors, thus ending (or at least sidelining) a once promising career.

    He should have resigned a year or more ago when he became incapable of serving. His people could have chosen a successor. Now it’ll stay an empty seat for two years or Illinois will have to pay to have a special election.

    He may have multiple problems in his life, but he has also shown he is, at heart, a selfish man.
