UPDATE: Rush Limbaugh will “take a lot of tests” according to Walter Williams, guest host on Mr. Limbaugh’s radio show while Mr. L is vacationing in Hawaii. “While pains [in chest] can be an indicator of a cardiac event, the cause of his discomfort cannot be confirmed at this time,” Williams said, adding that Mr. Limbaugh is in “good, stable condition… He’s aware and thankful for all the prayers and concerns and best wishes that have poured in to him.”
Kit Carson, Limbaugh’s chief of staff, said Mr. Limbaugh had planned to return to his radio program on Monday.

- “Rush was admitted to a Honolulu hospital today and is resting comfortably after suffering chest pains. Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes. He will keep you updated via RushLimbaugh.com and on Thursday’s radio program.”
He’d been vacationing and playing golf all week but today, complaining of chest pains, Mr. Limbaugh was rushed to hospital by paramedics. The last update says he was in serious condition at that time.
Spokespersons for Mr. Limbaugh are not releasing any further info at present.
