The “Once per 24 hour” voting rule makes for some weird patterns. My two main competitors both seem to get most of their votes in the morning and early afternoon. I get most of mine in the evening. So, each day I slowly fall behind, and then come racing madly back into contention. It’s a crazy rollercoaster, and it’s making me dizzy.
My category, “best of the top 3,501 – 5,000”, is far and away the most competitive. Right now, there are three blogs within 10 votes of each other for the lead. Early today, we were all within 3. This is not conducive to a healthy, happy atmosphere in the Schraub residence.
After a brief stint in the lead last night, I’m currently down 10 and (since now is the pinnacle of my “dead zone”) falling fast. On the other hand, if I can stay competitive during the early hours, I’ll be well positioned to take the lead when my late voters come in.
So, if you feel comfortable, cast a vote for The Debate Link. And remember–we’re only 4 days away from getting me to shut up about this!
