How will you celebrate Christmas?
I for one will celebrate it with my parents, my sister, brother-in-law, niece and girlfriend. Saturday: girlfriend and I will buy most of the presents (… we only bought one present thus far), Sunday Church service in the evening, Monday claim that all presents under Christmas tree are mine, go to grandfather, have dinner with the 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 of us, Tuesday visit other relatives.
Anyway, as you all know I am a Christian, and as such, Christmas is a big deal for me. Of course I go to what we call “kerstnachtdienst” (Christmasnightservice) but I also enjoy reading my Bible and praying more. For me it is a time of reflection: I count my blessings and celebrate the birth (and life) of Jesus.
