Being a contributor to a political blog, I ask myself, what am I doing of any benefit?
I have the opportunity to confront _and/or_ add to the frustration.
If I access TMV in this way, will it matter? What purpose does it serve?
None as far as I can tell. On political blogs, there is almost zero chance of changing political minds.
Why do I write?
I think it is to exchange knowledge.
I don’t write about politics. Never have.
Rhetorically, why do I comment?
Is it a mild addiction or am I seeking to benefit others.

As Hall of Fame coach John Wooden said, “A coach is someone who can give correction without causing resentment.”
Giving advice to those that ask or pay me for it is one thing.
Unsolicited ‘correction’ is not well received.
