As Republican members of the Texas House sought to push through an anti-abortion bill, SB5, during a special session, one legislator put her foot in her mouth.
During proceedings Sunday night, Republican Rep. Jody Laubenberg, confused a rape kit with an abortion. She is the primary sponsor of HB60 (companion bill to SB5). Her comment was widely mocked on Twitter and Facebook.
