With the races called in Arkansas and South Carolina, it’s time to focus on Nevada and California.
Update: It is quite early but I think we can call the California primaries
Whitman for Governor and Fiorina for Senator, the birther loses the SoS race
In Nevada the Democratic primaries seem to be over, with Harry Reid for Senate and son Rory Reid for Governor.
On the GOP side it looks like Governor Gibbons is going down to a well deserved defeat with US District Court Judge Brian Sandoval taking the nod.
In the US Senate race, it’s still up in the air though Sue Lowden now holds a narrow lead. GOP would be best served with her win, a victory by tea party favorite Sharron Angle would help Reid
Polls just closing in California.
On the Democratic side it’s not much of a race for Governor or Senator with Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer as the unopposed candidates.
The race also seems over for the GOP in the Governor and Senate races with Whitman and Fiorina leading.
In the race for Secretary of State, so far the GOP is dodging the bullet with the birther candidate far behind
