Towards the close of his first weekly address, President Obama promises:

We’ll launch an unprecedented effort to root out waste, inefficiency, and unnecessary spending in our government, and every American will be able to see how and where we spend taxpayer dollars by going to a new website called recovery.gov.

More transparency via the web. For now the site is only the message pictured above.

Oh my God! lol…

The backroom boys are squirming like greased-eels on a hot skillet now!..

No more unaccountability and extra ladels of gravy for those who want to get re-elected,,,,LOL!

Aw shucks…

You know, this is going to be another blow to the GOP. Besides the super-wealthy, the GOP, ironically has relied on the masses of brainwashed or duped working poor, led by the carrots of buzzwords alone like “liberty” “america!” “freedom!” and the like. But odds are one or two of them know how to use the interwebnet by now and you know how gossip flies down at the truckstop diner!

I mean, imagine them finding out that some of their beloved and “patriotic” elected leaders are trying to scam the working guys. There goes another big chunk of the base. Huge in fact.

I wonder how President Obama reconciles unnecessary spending with his support for affirmative action, 8a contracting, minority set asides, and small business contracts that pay above market rates. I wonder how he reconciles the mandate of paying everyone union scale when little private sector construction is performed at union scale?

My guess this is another of President Obama’s saying something slippery and people hearing what they want to hear.
