The anti-fur people have better PR.
Americans are more sympathetic towards the innocent.
45% oppose having a child out of wedlock and 56% oppose abortion. That's 101%. Not statistically significant, given the many ways to aviod out of wedlock child bearing, but still interesting.
Why do you assume these are additive? More likely there is a lot of overlap.
