Will Barack Obama Have A Beer With Sean Hannity?

President Barack Obama has left himself open to the idea that he could sit down and have a beer with conservative talker Sean Hannity. And on Fox News the Prez’ Press Secretary Robert Gibbs left the suggestion open…and apparently Hannity is open to the idea.

Here’s the video:

Question one: Does this mean Obama will later have a pizza with Rush Limbaugh?

Question two: Does the White House have a food taster?

Hannity is a partisan blowhard and I don't see much good coming from this. I think Obama's best bet is to just ignore Hannity, Limbaugh, etc and don't give them the satisfaction of his acknowledging them.

Help Wanted: Unemployed Beefeater from Buckingham Palace. Must like being on the go and eating food a chef from the previous administration prepares on a daily basis. The timid need not apply.

I don't mind President Obama having a beer with show-biz types, but, Hannity and Limbo are just Mis-Information/Commentators who will say anything for publicity.

  4. [...] Would Barack Obama meet Sean Hannity for a beer? The invitation came at an awkward moment, in the middle of Obama’s town-hall meeting in Elkhart yesterday, and not from Hannity himself. Obama seemed at least open to the idea, which led to this light-hearted exchange on Fox & Friends this morning with Robert Gibbs (via Joe Gandelman): [...]

Good for Obama for finally recognizing the elephant in the room (ok unintentional pun!, lol) and confronting reality.

The real leaders of the defeated Republican party are not Mitch, Michael and John — they are Rush, Sean and Bill'o whose combined audiences approach the number of conservative voters, and whose ability to drum up outrage results in changed votes in Congress. If you have any doubts- think of the now defunct “comprehensive” immigration bill from last year.

Who do you think has the ear of more Republicans????

Gosh, what's a good librul left to think here?

Yesterday, his “we cannot continue the failed policies of the last 8 years” administration invokes State Secrets Privilege in an anti-torture lawsuit.

Now, he is trying to make niceties with the hate-spewing, fear-mongering, God-worshipping, non-latte drinking right-wingers.

What's next?………tax breaks for corporations in a stimulus bill?

Obama could handle it fine. Would love to see Gasbag Sean try his schtick.
Could you imagine W sitting down in a similar fashion with, say Rachel Maddow?
    The mind boggles.
