I thought I could, but I cant.
I thought I could write about the Chechen/Ingush terrorist invasion of the Beslan school in Russia that as unleashed on the innocent ten years ago– that abject tragedy beyond tragedy seeming to give Putin opportunity to seriously deepen his personal power over others, and perhaps inspired him in his increasingly coalesced powers since then, to invade Crimea ten years later, trying to break Ukraine. This is the same aging Putin who said the greatest tragedy of the 20th century was the break up of the USSR.
Right. Tell that to all the people laboring without progress and many mouths to feed, while the fat cats at the top of PUtin’s rock pile, feasted on caviar with their bad teeth, and were carried by chauffers to the Black Sea resorts to show off their white-fish bellies.
Given the terrible tragedy/attack on school children in Peshawar Pakistan yesterday, murdering over 100 children, and seemingly targeting especially young teens– what sickness, what utter inhuman sickness– I had wanted to recall to us the attack on the Russian school by the armed Islamic terrorists, a near identical invasion to the one in Pakistan.
But as I read through the history of the events, I feel I have to place a link here and let others tell the story, who can tell it better than I. I’ve been up all night keeping Vigil for the Pakistani mothers and fathers and families who’ve lost their loved ones. I heard of the attack before the cable and networks carried it, for religious I know from Pakistan began sending emails out to our help and prayer network, asked for help, saying matters were critical.
I’ve chosen wikipedia as the link. The report is long on the Russian School invasion and the horrible handling of it by Putin. I hope you can stand to read it all. I think it will also give perspective to what has just occured in Pakistan.
May we all grow in understanding. May we not continue to be naive.
Thank you.
