Dale Haney, formerly the White House horticulturist and now the Grounds Superintendent, has tended to every presidential dog since King Timahoe, Richard M. Nixon’s Irish setter. That’s right, he’s worked at the WH since 1972.
In his role, he manages a staff of about 20 National Park Service employees, including electricians, gardeners and repairmen.
Yes, the President lives in a National Park.
