Rafael Cruz, the Cuban-born father of Canadian-born Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is on video speaking on his son’s behalf during his Senate campaign last year, calling President Obama an “outright Marxist” who “seeks to destroy all concept of God” and he urged the audience to send the president “back to Kenya,” Mother Jones reports.

Um, where do I begin? Let’s see, for starters, if we go birther, how can Ted Cruz even run for the presidency? He isn’t a natural born American citizen. Rafael Cruz left Cuba under strange pretenses, so I seriously doubt he should be telling President Obama to go back to Kenya. President Obama is a natural born American with a Kenyan father. Big deal. As they say, the fruit never falls far from the tree, does it?

This comes as Sen. Harry Reid said, “If I didn’t care so much about our country, I would hope he will get the Republican nomination for president, because that would be the end of the Republican Party.” Enough said.
